The San Gabriel Police Department will again collaborate with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in their 13th National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Detective Gilbert Lee and Evidence & Property Technician Wendy Flores will be on hand at the San Gabriel Police Department, 625 South Del Mar Avenue, which will serve as an official collection site for the event. Since the beginning of this initiative, over 7.1 million pounds (3,500 tons) of prescription medications have been collected nationwide. Please bring your expired or unused prescription drugs to support this campaign and enhance public safety. The service is free and anonymous; no questions asked.
