After School Recreation
Looking for something fun to do after school? San Gabriel Elementary students grades 2 - 5 can join us for our free after school program. Your child will get assistance with homework, do crafts, play games, stay active, and have fun! This program is available at Coolidge, McKinley, Washington, and Wilson Elementary Schools. The after school program runs five days a week 2:30 to 5:00 pm and 1:30 to 5:00 pm on Wednesdays. Recreation Leaders are at each school site to collect permission slips for this exciting new program!
Jefferson After School Sports Program
We are offering a new sports program at Jefferson Middle School! The program will be held Monday - Thursday 3:00 to 5:00 pm, game schedule to be determined. Your child will have an opportunity to participate in a number of sports including flag football, volleyball, cheer-leading, tennis, and much more! Selected team members will represent Jefferson Middle School in the Foothill Sports League (210 League). Teams will compete against other local middle schools. Teams will be focused on preparing for high school sports, developing good sportsmanship and team play. All activities are limited to Jefferson Middle School students.
Jefferson Soccer Permission SlipThis is a great opportunity for your child to learn the fundamentals of basketball, gain a sense of pride and sportsmanship skills and enhance their basketball skills. For boys and girls grades 1 - 6 and the fee is $125 per participant (includes league fee and a jersey).
Youth Basketball League
This is a tri-city league that consists of Duarte, Arcadia and the City of San Gabriel and will begin the week of December 10 to March 23. All teams are co-ed and are open to all who would like to participate. All participants will need to present verification of grade when registering. There is no guarantee of placement on a team if not registered by December 21, 2018.
